Yoga Classes will provide for a trained instructor in hatha / vinyasa yoga, a bottle of water, yoga mat, and one-hour class. Instruction will be provided for the span of beginner to advanced levels.
If this seems a little too voodoo or zen coming from a surgeon, I agree. I was a very slow convert. Unfortunately, the facts are the facts. Research shows that exercise and the practice of some form of mindfulness is a helpful approach to reducing stress and burnout. Yoga is a great opportunity for the combination.
