Meet Richard
My goal is to help individuals face challenges head-on and achieve the balance that will allow them to excel in both their professional as well as personal lives.
My journey into coaching began when our medical school instituted a coaching program for medical students, and I became involved coaching first and second year students. Through faculty development programs and working with students, I discovered the power of coaching and began my personal journey to become a coach with expertise in a variety of coaching techniques.
Since then, I have gained experience coaching people in a broad range of healthcare professions. I help them develop into the individuals they have been striving to become.
As an educator, clinician, and administrator I have experienced the ups and downs associated with a busy career. Taking advanced training in managing burnout at the individual and institutional level has given me additional tools to utilize with those I coach and mentor.
The benefits of coaching are clear to me. Being a coach has allowed me to better understand how we can all interact in an optimal way and achieve success while maintaining a healthy balance.
