Meet Muyibat
I am an orthopaedic surgeon in Saint Louis who specializes in hip and knee replacement. I became passionate about surgeon coaching after my own major career change. I look forward to supporting physicians and surgeons who are early in practice, those who feel stuck in their careers, and those considering a career transition. I also love sharing my perspective on coaching, career development, and medicine as a workplace on social media and the SurgeonMasters blog.
Outside of work, I enjoy sports, writing, photography, and interior design.

“Muyibat helped to talk through complex work-related issues, often highlighting what should have been obvious, but I wasn’t seeing. We were then able to identify the bullet point problems. With this, we were able to outline concrete steps towards achieving my professional goals.
She provided coaching on how to approach my concerns, how to anticipate reactions, and how to inform my mindset.
Coaching gave me new tools that carried my approach to professional concerns beyond just the immediate. It was immensely helpful.” – (Private Name), Neurosurgeon
