Meet Stacia
Dr. Stacia Dearmin is a nationally recognized speaker, educator, and ICF-certified coach who seeks to support and inspire physicians facing adverse patient outcomes and malpractice litigation. A graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, she engaged in bedside practice and teaching — primarily in pediatric emergency medicine — for 25 years. Along the way, she observed and learned firsthand how ill-equipped physicians often feel when facing a difficult patient outcome or med mal lawsuit. She founded Thrive, LLC, in 2017 with the goal of providing education and relieving pain and isolation among colleagues confronted with the toughest experience many will ever have.
As a coach, she serves physicians facing a variety of career stressors and transitions, and continues to have a special interest in helping physicians to navigate difficult patient outcomes and malpractice litigation with dignity, integrity and self-regard. She is also the creator of “Deposition Magic,” an on-demand video-CME course for physician-defendants who want to master their deposition.
