On June 5th the Journal of Pediatric Orthopaedics published Surgeon Coaching: Why and How authored by SurgeonMasters CEO and coach, Jeffrey M. Smith, MD, FACS, CPC, in a supplement published online in conjunction with the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America.
The 2019 POSNA Precourse entitled “Improving Patient Care through Wellness, Teamwork, and Organizational Changes,” was held in Charlotte, NC in May 2019. It was led by Program Chair Brian P. Scannell, MD. Dr. Smith was invited to deliver the talk, Surgeon Wellness: Why and How, and follow-up with a peer-reviewed publication in the online supplement.
