Mindy Ho, MD, MBA, FACS

I am a board-certified General Surgeon with over 20 years of experience in medicine, working in both private practice and hospital employed settings. A native of the Midwest, I returned to Indiana after completing my residency in the Chicago area. While building a thriving career as a general surgeon, I concurrently pursued my MBA and embraced my most rewarding role yet, becoming a mother of three.

Despite having achieved “success” by many accounts, including my own, I searched for a deeper sense of fulfillment. Recognizing the signs of burnout as I maneuvered through my daily routine in “survival mode”, I proactively sought coaching, which led to a transformative journey of self-discovery. This process allowed me to align my work with my core values and passions. I realized it wasn’t my true desire to leave medicine entirely, but rather to integrate personal growth, opportunities to innovate, and greater flexibility into my life. Today, I can proudly say that I am able to prioritize family while skillfully wearing multiple hats as an ambitious entrepreneur, passionate coach and well-respected surgeon. I believe that compassion, collaboration, coaching, and mentorship are the foundations for building a sustainable and thriving future within the healthcare system.
