Running for 8 years / Cooking for 19 years
How did you get started?
I started to run because I have to travel and wanted to do some sport that I can do everywhere. I have run in many different places and have seen beautiful sunrises, sunsets and cities.
I started to cook because I found it interesting and challenging, I usually cook at least one day during the week and almost every weekend.
How does this activity impact your mental, physical, and / or emotional well-being?
Both activities do this in a different manner, running and listening to music at the same time, put my phone in airplane mode and it is just me and my mind goes blank. Cooking is sharing with my family the moment, from getting everything set to eating is sharing with the people I care.
How does this activity bring wellness to your life when other activities have not?
These activities are outside of what I usually do, so they are relaxing and bring joy to my life.
