Not being in person with my colleagues over the past year and a half has helped me realize how important connection is to our well-being. And while many of us may feel burned out on virtual events, there are advantages to coming together online. I’ve been thinking recently about a Brené Brown quote about connection and how it might relate to us.
“Connection is the energy that exists between people when they feel seen, heard, and valued; when they can give and receive without judgment; and when they derive sustenance and strength from the relationship.” – Brené Brown, The Gifts of Imperfection
Our goal is to create a space where all of us can feel seen, heard, and valued. Here are two events to take advantage of.
- SurgeonMasters Community E-Gagements – Connect with your colleagues to discuss strategies central to practice optimization and personal wellness. Stay tuned for more info and dates!
- Physician Coach Training – Learn coaching skills to support your colleagues and staff. Training is certified by the International Coaching Federation and is eligible for 24 CME hours. The next cohort begins September 16th.
