Dear SurgeonMasters Community,
The most recent podcast episode, Gratitude Ritual!, got me reflecting on just how grateful I am for each member of this community. My relationships with you all vary in depth and frequency, but what unites us is our shared care for the mission of SurgeonMasters—supporting surgeons and physicians to thrive in their personal and professional lives. For that, I am truly thankful.
September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, an important reminder that we must stay connected and look out for one another. Even small acts of compassion and presence can make a meaningful difference. (In memory to Tom Fishler and Dean Lorich, MD, and many others in the healthcare community.)
Looking ahead, I invite you to join me for two special community events in the second half of the year. These gatherings will be a chance to connect with one another, share reflections, and lean into gratitude—especially as we approach the holiday season.
I hope you’ll be there. Thank you for being part of this community. Your presence matters.
